Learn how to reset a forgotten Klaviyo password when you're unable to log in.

This guide will be useful for those who are locked out of their Klaviyo accounts due to a forgotten password. Review the following scenarios to determine if an alternative solution may apply to your situation:
- Still have access but want to change password
- If you are able to log into your account but want to change your password or update your account email, please refer to our guide on changing your account email or password in Klaviyo.
- Lost access to account email
- If you've lost access to the email you previously used for your Klaviyo account, contact the account's Owner or Admin to have your new email address added as a user.
- If you are the only user on the account, please submit a request here for help.

Reset a forgotten password
If you have forgotten your password, you must reset it via the Klaviyo login page.
- Navigate to the Klaviyo login page.
- Select Forgot Your Password?
- Input the email address associated with your account.
- Select Send email.
You will have 3 hours to use the password reset link after receiving it.
- Open your email account and locate the "Reset your Klaviyo password" email. Be sure to check your inbox, spam, and promotions folder for this message.
- Click on the password reset link in the email or paste it into your browser.
- On the Reset Password modal, create a new password to regain access to your account. Your new password must meet the following criteria:
- At least 8 characters long
- No more than 64 characters
- Cannot include common password terms like "password" or "Klaviyo"
- Select Reset password to save this change.
Next, navigate back to the Klaviyo login page and log in again with your new password.
