Klaviyo works best as a 1:1 sync with your ecommerce store or website. If you have multiple stores or regional versions of a store, you'll need multiple Klaviyo accounts for each website.
With multi-accounts, you can log in once to access and switch between multiple Klaviyo accounts using the same email address and password. This eliminates the need to log in and out with separate email addresses for each account.
Best practices for using multiple accounts
- Ensure that you are in the correct account to avoid taking action or data being synced with the wrong store.
- When updating your ecommerce site, make sure you're only logged into its associated Klaviyo account. If you are logged into one Klaviyo account (e.g., a CA Klaviyo account) while making changes to a different ecommerce site (e.g., your US Shopify store), those updates may sync by default.
- If you have a paid plan, consider creating a portfolio for a high-level look at your multiple accounts. A portfolio allows you to compare billing details for each account within 1 view.
User permissions for multi-accounts
Klaviyo supports varying permissions for the same email address across separate accounts. For example, you could have Admin rights in 1 account, but be a Campaign Coordinator with restricted permissions in another.

You'll need to fill out the registration form for each account that you'd like to use the same login for. To create multiple accounts with the same email address, or add another account to an existing multi-account:
- Navigate to Klaviyo.com.
- Click the Sign up button at the top of the page.
- Complete the registration form for each business you want to link to the same email address.
- Note: When you fill out the form, use the same email address and password for all of your accounts. You must, however, use a different Company name and Company website.
- For example, let's say I have a business with both a US and a UK site.
- For my US store, I'll input my US store's name and URL.
- For my UK store, I must input a different Company name and Company website (e.g., my UK store's name and URL.)

Once you've created your accounts and completed the setup wizard, you'll be able to login once and access both accounts through the dropdown menu in the lower left corner or Klaviyo.
Navigating a multi-accountNavigating a multi-account
When you log in with an email and password that is attached to multiple accounts, you'll automatically be logged into the most recent account you accessed. If necessary, use the account dropdown to switch to the account you need.
To view all accounts associated with your login, click your organization name in the bottom left corner of Klaviyo. From here, you can easily switch between each account.
Each account icon is automatically assigned a color, but these colors are unique to each user. This means that 2 users with access to the same account may see different colors (e.g., user A sees the account in red, while user B sees it in blue).
To see a larger list of all accounts linked to this email address, select All accounts. From there, you can search for specific accounts or star your favorites to pin them at the top of the list.

When you create multiple accounts with the same email address, you have to initially create the accounts with separate company/organization names. If you would like your accounts to have the same company name, you can change it later by navigating to your Settings, then clicking Organization and editing the Company/organization name field.

If you're connecting multiple accounts that represent different regions for the same store, you will likely want to clone them from one account to another in order to facilitate the setup process. You can clone flows, forms, segments, campaigns, and templates.

If you receive the error: An account with this username already exists, make sure you're using the same email address and password to create your second (or third, etc.) account. You cannot create a separate account with the same email address but a different password.
