To see the billing details in a portfolio, navigate to Manage > Billing

Here, you’ll see a table view of each linked account and its corresponding billing details.
Billing tab in a portfolio

This view shows you the:

  • Total plan value
    • The total cost per month for all paid plans or “Contract” if the account is manually billed.
    • The total does not include any taxes.
  • Plan usage
    • This indicates whether the account is:
      • Under the plan limit (0–74%), in blue.
      • Near plan limit (75–99%), in yellow.
      • Over plan limit (100% and more), in red.
    • The account plan usage updates in real time each time you refreshload the page.
  • Billing cycle
    • The dates of each account’s current billing cycle.
    • If manually billed: shows as either “N/A” or the contract start and end date.

There’s no cost to having a portfolio, so the portfolio itself will not show in the Billing tab.

What do I see if the account is a parent or child account?

For anyone using shared billing, what you see depends on if the parent account is linked to the portfolio.

If the parent account is linked to the portfolio, the Billing tab initially only shows the parent account, but it includes the total usage and plan values for the entire account family. For a more detailed look, you can click the name of the parent account to see all of the children accounts.

If you have a child account linked to a portfolio but not the parent account, you will not see any rows in the Billing tab for that account family.
