You will learn
Learn how to update the credit card information associated with your account. Note that Klaviyo does not support multiple credit cards in a single account.
This guide will help you edit or change the payment method for your Klaviyo account. To remove your card, you must make changes to your plan. See how to downgrade to free, cancel a plan, or close your Klaviyo account.
Before you beginBefore you begin
If a payment fails, Klaviyo will automatically initiate a retry process. In cases where there are multiple failed payments, your account will be temporarily suspended. This suspension indicates that an update to your credit card information may be necessary.
Once you update your card and the overdue payment is successfully processed, your account will be automatically re-enabled.
Klaviyo may take up to 1 hour to attempt processing the new card, resulting in a potential delay before your account's status updates. We recommend checking back after this 1 hour period. If your account is still re-enabled, contact our support team for assistance.
Update your credit card information
When adding or updating a credit card, please ensure the card is linked to a valid zip code (also called a "postal code"). The zip code you provide must match the one associated with the card. Keep in mind that the card's postal code may differ from your organization's billing address.
- In Klaviyo, click your organization name in the bottom left corner.
- Select Billing.
- In the Overview tab, go to the Billing section.
- Click Update billing.
- Add in your:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- Security code (CVC number)
- Country
- ZIP code
- Click Update billing.
