How do I tell what type of bounce my customer experienced?
In Klaviyo, there are two types of bounces - hard and soft. Hard bounces are caused by permanent issues and soft bounces are resolvable.
If you want to see what type of bounce a customer experienced, click into the customer profile and search for the bounced email event. You can click on the timestamp for the event on the right hand side and see whether the bounce recorded is hard or soft.
If you want to see how many of your total bounces for a campaign are hard or soft, you can create a segment of customers that bounced on the date that you sent your campaign and use the "Add Filter" button to select the bounce type as "hard" or "soft."
