The ability to add trusted devices adds an extra layer of security to your Klaviyo account. However, we encourage you to enable two-step authentication as a best practice to ensure the protection of your Klaviyo account.
When you log in via a device that is not trusted, you will be required to confirm your login with a verification code that will be sent to your email address. Once you mark a device as trusted, you will not be required to complete this step again for the particular device.
Mark a Device as Trusted
The first time you log into Klaviyo on a new device, you will be required to enter a verification code that will be sent to you by email. Verification codes will expire within two hours of being sent.
Once you enter your verification code, check Don't ask again for this device before clicking Log In.
This will mark your device as trusted so you don't have to verify your login every time. You should only mark devices that are not publicly used as trusted to ensure the security of your account.
If you receive a verification email but you did not attempt to log in on a new device, change your password immediately.
What constitutes a new device?
Any device that has not previously been marked as trusted is considered a new device.
Do verification codes expire?
Yes, verification codes expire within two hours of being sent.
I don't see a verification email from Klaviyo.
If you can't find your verification email in your inbox, double check all your tabs/folders. If you still do not see the email, you can resend it.
I don't have access to the email inbox associated with my login credentials.
If you don't have access to the email inbox associated with your login credentials, contact your account owner or administrator. They will need to add you as a new user to the account. If you cannot contact the account owner or administrator, reach out to customer support.
