Overview

Overview

The activity logger is a self-service audit trail that provides visibility into all actions performed within your Klaviyo account. Instead of contacting Klaviyo support to investigate account changes, you can now independently track who made a change, what that change was, and when it happened.

This transparency helps ensure account security, simplifies compliance auditing, and allows you to quickly troubleshoot configuration issues by identifying the source of specific updates.

In this article, you will learn:

  • Who can access the activity logger.
  • The benefits of using the audit trail for your business.
  • How to navigate and filter the log.

Access and permissions

Access and permissions

To ensure account security, the activity logger is not visible to all users. It is available exclusively to:

  • Account Owners
  • Admins
  • Users with "Account Settings" permissions

Open beta limitations

Open beta limitations

This feature is currently in open beta. While the log captures 100% of edit actions, the "Event Details" (the specific granular data about what was changed within an item) are currently limited.

We are adding these granular details incrementally as we move toward General Availability (GA).

[!TIP] Need more information? If you see an action in the logger but require more specific details that are not yet available in the beta interface, please reach out to Klaviyo Support for additional assistance.
