How to translate consent pages into different languages

Learn how to translate consent pages (i.e., subscribe, unsubscribe, and manage preferences pages) created in Klaviyo into the language your subscribers use. 

Translate a list page 

By default, Klaviyo’s consent pages use American English. All text fields in your consent pages, including buttons, privacy disclosures, and error messages, are fully editable. 

To translate an account-level consent page: 

  1. Open the account menu in the bottom-left corner of Klaviyo.
  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click Email Preference & Subscription.
  4. Below the page type you’d like to edit (e.g., subscribe page), click Edit Page.

  5. Click each field and replace the default text with text in your preferred language.
    • Make sure to complete this for all steps, including the Success page.
  6. Click Publish to publish your changes. 

To translate a list-specific consent page: 

  1. Navigate to Audience > Lists & Segments in Klaviyo. 
  2. Choose a list.
  3. Click Subscribe & Preference Pages.
  4. Click Customize for this List (if you haven’t yet customized any of this list’s pages).
  5. Below the page type you’d like to edit (e.g., subscribe page), click Edit Page.

    • Make sure to complete this for all steps, including the Success page.
  7. Click Publish to publish your changes.
