Exporting the analytics for your campaigns helps you to review and measure the performance of your campaigns. It also makes it easy to analyze the data of an individual message to see whether an SMS or email was successful. In this article, you will learn how to export a campaign's analytics.
Export Campaign Analytics
You can export your campaign data into CSV format. You can also access exports from the last 30 days by navigating to Account > Downloads.
To create a new CSV file, go to the Campaigns tab. Click the Options dropdown at the top of the page and then select Export Analytics.
Next, complete the wizard by selecting the following options:
- Adjust the Time Range of the export (or select All Sent Campaigns)
- Adjust the Tag you'd like to export (or select All Tags)
- Select whether you want to include only email campaigns or only SMS campaigns
- Choose whether you want to include all email variations in your export (your file will break out analytics for all A/B tested campaigns by variation)
Click the Export Analytics button to begin your export. The export will download in your browser once finished.
Information in the Exported CSV
For any campaign, the resulting CSV file will contain the following columns (in order):
- Campaign Name
- Send Time
- Send Weekday
- Total Recipients
- Unique Placed Orders
- Placed Order Rate
- Unique Opens
- Open Rate
- Total Opens
- Unique Clicks
- Click Rate
- Total Clicks
- Spam Complaints
- Spam Complaint Rate
- Successful Deliveries
- Bounce Rate
- Campaign ID
- Campaign Channel
For SMS campaigns, note that the columns relating to opens will always be at 0, as opens are not tracked in Klaviyo. In addition, the column named "Subject" will show you a clip of the actual text message, as there's no subject line.
