Learn how to connect Klaviyo Reviews and Customer Hub to display star ratings under products featured in the Customer Hub drawer on your site. Displaying reviews data in your Customer Hub interface gives shoppers a quick visual representation of customer satisfaction, which influences purchase decisions and can lead to higher conversion rates.
Customer Hub is a part of Klaviyo Service and access to the beta is being rolled out gradually. If you do not have access to the Customer Hub tab in Klaviyo’s main navigation yet, join the Customer Hub beta. Note that you must be on a paid Klaviyo email plan to be approved. Participation in this beta is only currently available in English for those who operate a Shopify Online Store.
While this product remains in beta, functionality is not complete, and will be subject to change frequently throughout the beta period. By enabling Customer Hub through the onboarding workflow, you agree to the beta terms and conditions. While this feature is free during the beta period, it will be sold separately upon launch to general availability.

Before you begin
This guide explains how to activate Klaviyo Reviews so they display in the Customer Hub drawer on your site. Before proceeding, ensure that the Customer Hub feature is enabled.
You need to have a Klaviyo Reviews plan, or start one, to enable this feature in your Customer Hub settings. Learn how to get started with Klaviyo Reviews.
About reviews data in Customer HubAbout reviews data in Customer Hub
Customer Hub enhances the shopping experience by displaying a personalized selection of relevant products on the For You tab, based on a customer's shopping history and recent activity on your site. These products are shown as cards in different sections on the For you tab, and can be expanded into a list view.
You can enable Klaviyo Reviews content to display in the Customer Hub drawer so star rating show beneath certain products via your star rating widget.
Only the star rating widget is supported in Customer Hub, and you cannot currently collect reviews via the Customer Hub interface.
When the Klaviyo Reviews extension is enabled in Customer Hub settings, average star ratings and counts are displayed within:
- Recently viewed products in the list view
- Products in the Favorites section in the list view, when enabled
- Recommended products in the card and list view, when enabled
The appearance of star ratings in the Customer Hub drawer on your site will mirror how you’ve styled your Star Rating widget in your reviews settings. For instance, if you have opted to use hearts instead of stars, the hearts will display beneath products featured in Customer Hub.

Note that if your Customer Hub feature is live in Klaviyo, saving publishes this change live on your site. If it’s not, you’ll see this change once you set the hub live in the General settings menu.
- In Klaviyo’s left-hand navigation, select Customer Hub.
- Select Settings.
- Choose Extensions.
- Under Klaviyo Reviews, click Enable Klaviyo Reviews. To enable this setting, you must have an active Klaviyo Reviews plan. If you do not, you will be prompted to add a Reviews plan.
- Click Save.
Use the View live button to see how this looks. You should see star ratings beneath products on the For you tab of your Customer Hub interface.
