As a best practice, marketing messages should always have a single call to action (CTA). Crowding several CTAs into a single message makes it overwhelming to read, and often means the recipient takes no action at all. By providing a single clear path for your customers, you increase the likelihood that they’ll review one of the products they ordered. 

Once someone has finished reviewing an item, they’ll see the option to review additional items from their order. To choose how many additional items they see, head to Reviews > Review settings > Review submission page and select an option from the Success page card.

By default, Klaviyo prioritizes the product with the fewest reviews when sending review requests. If a customer ordered two items: one of your best sellers (which has dozens of reviews) and one of your brand-new products that hasn’t received any reviews yet, we’ll request a review of the brand-new product from them. 

This strategy ensures an even distribution of reviews across all of your products. If you’d like to customize which products receive reviews, you have several options: 

  • Exclude a product from review. 
  • Prioritize reviews for highest-priced items.

To adjust your review product prioritization: 

  1. In the Klaviyo left-side navigation, click Reviews
  2. In the top-right corner, click Settings.
  3. Click Review requests.
  4. Adjust the setting in Product to prioritize as desired.

Reviews for multi-product orders

Reviews for multi-product orders

If a customer who purchased multiple items in a single order completes your review request, they’ll see a confirmation page with additional items from their order for review. They can leave a star rating for every item, or click Leave a review to add a text review and answer custom questions. 

These additional items are selected and prioritized based on your prioritization settings (i.e., highest price or least reviews). You can choose how many items to display in the review submission page settings. Any products that are excluded from review requests will not appear here. All products reviewed through this form will be marked as Verified

Pricing for reviews is based on orders, not submitted reviews. If a user reviews every product in their order, this will not change your billing tier.
