How to set up multi-store syndication for reviews
You will learn
Learn how to share reviews between 2 or more of your storefronts, also called multi-store syndication. This is helpful if you have multiple storefronts for different locations, but sell some or all of the same products in each.
Requirements
In order to configure multi-store syndication, all accounts must be part of the same portfolio. Set up a portfolio containing all the accounts you’d like to syndicate before proceeding. A Klaviyo account can only be a part of one syndication group, but a portfolio may contain multiple groups. Adding an account to a syndication group will remove it from any other syndication group it is currently part of.
A maximum of 10 Klaviyo accounts can be syndicated at one time.
About syndicating reviews to other stores
Multi-store syndication allows you to share reviews across products hosted on different storefronts. Syndication is two-way, meaning all reviews from every syndicated account will appear in reviews widgets for all other syndicated accounts. Reviews will be ordered based on each account’s language and translation settings.
Reviews are mapped between accounts based on unique SKUs. This means every store you intend to syndicate should use the same SKUs for matching products.
Reviews must be moderated from the account where they were originally submitted. You cannot approve a review in one syndicated account, but reject it in another. Reviews will only appear in your Klaviyo reviews dashboard in the account where the review originated.
Enable review syndication
After completing this process, reviews will begin appearing across all selected storefronts within 1 week.
- From an account you’d like to syndicate, navigate to Reviews.
- Select Reviews settings.
- Select Syndication.
- In the Multi-store section, toggle on the setting Syndicate reviews to other stores.
- Select the account(s) that should share reviews with the one you’re currently logged in to. You can only syndicate reviews between accounts where you are an owner or an admin; if you don’t have sufficient access, ask your Klaviyo account administrator to upgrade your access in all accounts you’d like to syndicate.
- Click Save changes.
Disable review syndication
If you’d like to remove syndication after setting it up, there are 2 options:
- Remove a single store from a syndicated group
- Disable syndication for the entire group
You must be an admin or owner for every account in the syndicated group in order to disable syndication entirely.
To remove a single store from a syndicated group:
- Navigate to a different Klaviyo account within the syndicated group. This process cannot be completed within the account you are removing.
- Navigate to Reviews.
- Select Reviews settings.
- Select Syndication.
- In the Multi-store section, deselect the account you’d like to remove from the syndicated group.
- Click Save changes.
To disable syndication for an entire group:
- Navigate to Reviews from any account in the syndication group.
- Select Reviews settings.
- Select Syndication.
- In the Multi-store section, toggle off the setting Syndicate reviews to other stores.
- Click Save changes.
Outcome
Once you enable multi-store syndication, reviews will begin appearing across all selected storefronts within 1 week.
