Learn how to customize when you send review requests to recent customers. Note that this setting can only be adjusted for those using Shopify; if you use WooCommerce, your review request timing can only be based on fulfillment date.

Many review request platforms simply wait a few days or weeks after an order is fulfilled to send a review request. This method is unreliable, as it doesn’t account for shipping delays, which results in unhappy reviewers who haven’t yet had the chance to try your product. Klaviyo Reviews for Shopify is different: it enables you to send review requests after a package has actually been delivered.
Sending reviews based on when a package is delivered (rather than when an order is fulfilled) is only available on paid Klaviyo Reviews plans. If you don’t see this option, upgrade your reviews plan.
By default, review requests are sent 7 days after a package is delivered (for online orders) and 3 days after a purchase (for POS purchases). This timing is fully customizable.

Changing the time delay applies to new order fulfillments recorded after the setting is changed. For example, if you decrease the timing from 14 days to 7 days, recent orders will still use the 14 day delay. Orders delivered or fulfilled after the setting change will use the new 7 day delay.
To adjust when your review requests are sent:
- In the Klaviyo left-side navigation, click Reviews.
- In the top-right corner, click Reviews settings.
- Click Review requests.
- Adjust the settings under Flow settings for review requests as desired.
