Enterprise organizations often run multiple brands as separate Klaviyo accounts. Cross-Brand Data linking connects profiles across those accounts to reveal when the same person shops multiple brands — powering unified reporting, portfolio-level customer insight, and smarter cross-brand strategy, without moving or exposing any brand's underlying data.
HOW IT WORKS
- Klaviyo builds an Organization-level identity graph that links brand profiles representing the same individual using deterministic matching (starting with email), with a persistent ID connecting them.
- Brand-level profiles, events, and catalog data are never copied or merged into other accounts — each brand's data stays fully isolated and governed.
- The identity layer is read-only: it powers reporting and future activation, but it does not edit or send on your behalf.
- Matches refresh regularly (target: within 24 hours), so your cross-brand view stays current.
TRANSPARENCY & CONTROLS
- Audit logs record every link and unlink event, including the identifiers involved and when the match occurred.
- You can manually unlink two profiles if a match is incorrect, and prevent them from being re-linked.
- Opt out at the individual or Organization level at any time.
- Deleting a profile removes it everywhere, including at the Organization level; unmatched data is purged on a 30-day cycle.
- Only Organization-level users can view cross-brand identity data — access always respects account and brand permission boundaries.
WHO IT'S FOR
Enterprise and multi-brand customers — such as portfolio companies operating several brands under one parent organization — who need a defensible, unified view of their customers across accounts, while preserving strict brand-level data governance.
