Learn how to display a customer review on a Klaviyo sign-up form to build trust with your site visitors and encourage more submissions.

You can choose between adding a store review or specific product review to showcase on your sign-up form and customize the styling to match your brand.

Before you begin

If this is your first time creating a sign-up form, learn the basics of getting started with sign-up forms.

If you haven’t yet, make sure to set up Klaviyo Reviews.

Add the review block to your form

  1. From Klaviyo's main navigation, select Website > Sign-up forms.
  2. Click Create form. If prompted, enter a name, select Web, and click Create to open the form library. From here you can either:
    • Select a pre-built template from the form library, name your form, choose the subscriber list or lists, and click Create form.
    • Click Create blank form to start from scratch. Enter a form name, select Web if a channel choice appears, choose a form type and subscriber list, then click Save and design.
  3. In the form editor, click Add content to open the Add blocks panel.
  4. Select the Reviews block and drag the block onto your form.
  1. Click Add review quote.
  2. Select either Store reviews or Product reviews.
  3. Browse the list of available reviews and click Select next to the one you want to display. If a menu appears, choose Select full review or Select review highlight.

You can show multiple reviews by adding more review blocks to your form. However, we recommend displaying no more than 2–3 reviews to keep your form clean and focused.

Review filter options

When you first open the review picker, Rating is set to 5 stars and Length to Short. Adjust the active filters if you don’t see the review you want. Options include:

  • Search
Search for reviews containing a specific word or phrase.
  • Rating
    Filter by number of stars.
  • Product
Filter product reviews by a specific product.
  • Verified
    Show only verified customers.
  • Exclude incentivized
Omit reviews given in exchange for incentives.
  • Time period
Limit display to reviews submitted within a specified timeframe.
  • Length
Limit display to reviews with a specified length.

Edit review block appearance

After adding a review block and selecting a review quote to display, you can toggle the following:

  • Rating
Whether or not to show the star rating.
  • Reviewer name
Whether or not to show the reviewer’s first name and first letter of their last name, e.g., James S.
  • Verified badge
Whether or not to show the verified checkmark next to the reviewer’s name if it is a verified review. This option is available only when Reviewer name is selected.

You can also adjust the styling for the following sections to make sure the font and colors align with your brand:

  • Rating style
  • Quote text
  • Reviewer name
  • Verified badge style
  • Block padding

Publish your form

Before publishing, make sure sign-up forms are enabled on your website. See getting started with sign-up forms for setup and testing instructions.

  1. Review the form’s appearance on desktop and mobile.
  2. Click Publish or schedule.
  3. To publish immediately, select Publish now, resolve any blocking alerts, then click Publish now.

If you created an embed form, copy its embed code from the publishing confirmation and add it to your website where you want the form to appear.
