You will learn

Learn how to share a Composer conversation with people in your workspace so they can read your requests, Composer’s responses, and the references behind the work.

Sharing lets a teammate follow the discussion that led to a recommendation without copying the conversation into another document. The shared link shows the messages included when you create or update the share; it does not automatically include later messages.

Before you begin

You can share only conversations you started. Open Composer in the workspace where you created the conversation. Sharing is for other members of that workspace.

Review the messages and references before making them available to your workspace. Recipients can read the shared conversation, but they cannot continue it.

Share a conversation

  1. Open the conversation you want to share in Composer.
  2. Click Share in the conversation header.

Open Share to manage access to the conversation.
  1. In the Share conversation dialog, use the access control beside your workspace to allow workspace members to view the conversation.
  2. Click Copy link and send the link to the teammates who need to read it.

Only the messages included at the time you create the share are visible through the link. You can keep working in your original conversation without automatically sharing your follow-up messages.

Include later messages

After sharing, you might ask Composer another question or refine its recommendation. Those later messages stay private by default, even though the earlier conversation is shared.

To include the newer messages, reopen Share in your original conversation and manually update the share link from the dialog. Review the new messages before updating: they will become part of what workspace members can read.

For example, share an initial campaign analysis for a team discussion, then continue exploring options privately. Update the share only when you want the team to see the additional discussion.

What recipients can see

Recipients can read the back-and-forth messages between you and Composer, along with references Composer includes in its responses. Campaign, flow, and segment previews are not currently visible in the shared conversation.

If a teammate needs to review a generated campaign, flow, or segment, do not rely on the shared conversation to show its preview. Arrange a separate review of that work in Klaviyo.

Recipients cannot send follow-up messages in the shared conversation. Sharing gives them a way to read the discussion; you continue the work in the original conversation.

If sharing is unavailable

Check that you started the conversation and are in the workspace where it was created. You cannot share a conversation owned by someone else. If a teammate shared their conversation with you, ask that person to include any additional messages you need to see.
