Why am I receiving a message that my campaign open rates are low?
As of March 2020, Klaviyo launched a deliverability feature to inform you (via an in-app notification and email) when a campaign with over 1,000 recipients results in a unique open rate under 5%. Note that open rates are not evaluated until at least 24 hours after the campaign is sent.
This feature is meant to help you monitor deliverability so that your sender reputation is not harmed over time. If you consistently have a low number of subscribers opening your emails, your sending reputation will degrade. As a result, inbox providers are more likely to place your emails into the spam folder. This notification will notify you when open rates are critically low so that you may improve going forward.
