How to Update Your Billing Email Address

In Klaviyo, you can update your billing email address within Billing Preferences. By default, all billing notifications are sent to the account Owner’s email address. In some cases, you may wish to change this email to route any billing information directly to a contact in charge of billing for your organization.

In this article, you will learn how to edit the email address that will receive any billing-related notifications from Klaviyo.

Note that only account Owners and Admins can update your account's billing email address.

Update Your Billing Email Address

To access your billing contact information, first, select the account dropdown in the upper right corner of your screen and click Account.


Then, navigate to Billing > Billing Preferences.


Under Billing Email, you will see the email address of your account’s Owner pre-populated as the main point of contact for any billing notifications.

To edit who receives billing notifications, type in the new email address under Send billing notifications to. Then, click Update Billing Email.

Within these preferences, you can only set one email address as the point-of-contact to receive billing notifications. If you want multiple people at your organization to receive notifications, we suggest making an alias and setting that as the billing email address or reaching out to our support team.


Once successfully saved, you will see a notification indicating that this email address has been updated. That email will remain in Klaviyo and any future billing notifications will be sent to this contact.
