In your Account Settings, you have the ability to set up your Klaviyo account with your preferred credentials. These settings include the options to:
- Change the email address associated with your account
- Change your password
- Change the first and last name associated with your account
In this article, you will learn how to access this page to change the password for your account.
Before you change your password, keep the following rules in mind. Your new password must:
- Be at least eight characters
- Not exceed 64 characters
- Not use common password terms like "password" or "Klaviyo"
Change Your Email and Password
To navigate to your Account Settings, click the account dropdown next to your profile image in the upper right and select Account.
Then, select Contact Information > Personal.
To change the email address for your account, fill in the box labeled New Email with the updated email address. Check that this information is correct and click Update Email.
To change your password, fill in the boxes below New Password and Current Password by typing in your new and current password. When you have checked to make sure all information is accurate, click Change Password.
Reset a Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password and are locked out of your account, you will have to reset the password via the Klaviyo login page. Select Forgot Your Password?
Next, you will be instructed to enter the email address associated with your account. Once you have done so, select Send a Password Reset Email.
Klaviyo will send an email to that address with a link to reset your password. Navigate to that email and click the password reset link. Then, create and save your new password to regain access to your account.
Note that, if you do not see a password reset email in your inbox, check your spam and promotional tabs as well. In some cases, these emails may land there instead.
