Organize templates with folders
You will learn
Use folders in Klaviyo's template library to organize your saved email templates into a structure that matches how your team works — by brand, campaign type, season, or any other grouping. Organized templates are faster to find and reuse, which saves time every time you build a new email.
Before you begin
- Folders are available on the My Templates tab of the template library only. The Themed Templates tab does not support folders.
- You must have a Content Creator, Campaign Coordinator, Manager, Administrator, or Owner role to create, rename, move, or delete folders. Users with the Analyst role can view and navigate folders but cannot modify them.
- Folders can be nested up to 10 levels deep.
- Folder names have a maximum length of 255 characters.
- Estimated time: under 1 minute to create a folder and move templates into it.
Overview
Folders let you group your saved templates however makes sense for your team. You can:
- create new folders and nest them inside one another,
- move templates into folders using drag-and-drop or the action menu,
- move entire folders inside other folders,
- rename or delete folders you no longer need, and
- select multiple templates and folders at once to move or delete them in bulk.
At the root level of My Templates, only templates that haven't been placed in a folder are shown — so your workspace stays uncluttered as you organize. Searching always looks across all folders, regardless of where you currently are.
