For push notifications, opens are when someone taps the message, which loads the app. Because of this, click rate is not tracked for push notifications, and open rate is the main metric used to measure push notification engagement.

In your account Analytics > Metrics, you can see the events for your push notifications. Let’s dive into what each metric means.

Received push
When Klaviyo records that your recipient has received a push notification from a flow or campaign. 

Opened push
When a recipient taps on a push notification and thus opens the app. 

Bounced push
When a push notification is sent but not delivered to the recipient.
