Overview
The Email Templates tab is where you create, edit, delete, and manage your email templates.
Create a Template
Follow these steps to create a new template.
- From Email Templates click Create Template.
- Select a template to start. You can choose a Basic or Themed template, or you can use one of your existing templates as a starting point or import a custom HTML template.
- Give your template a name and click Create Template.
This takes you to the template editor where you can create your content and save your template.
Edit a Template
Follow these steps to edit a template.
- From the Email Templates tab locate the template you want to edit.
- Clicking the title of the template or the left menu and select Edit Template.
This takes you to the template editor where you can edit your content and save your template.
This will not update templates that are in use in your flows or unsent campaigns.
Change the Name of a Template
From the Email Templates tab locate the template you want to update and hover over the name of the templates. Clicking the pencil icon allows you to change the name of the template.

Clone or Delete a Template
Follow these steps to clone or delete a template.
- From the Email Templates tab locate the template you want to clone or delete.
- Click the Edit dropdown and select the option you want to take.
Save an Email as a Template
If you're working with either a flow email or a draft campaign, you can save your email as a template.
- Click the Message Content tab.
- Click the Edit Content dropdown and select Save as Template.
- Enter a name for your template and click Save as Template.
Your email template is now available on the Email Templates tab.
Switching Templates
If you're working with either a flow email or a draft campaign, you can change the template you're working with.
- Click the Message Content tab.
- Click the Edit Content dropdown and select Change Template.
- Click Select Template and select from either the Built-In Templates or Your Templates.
