Why are my customers being skipped from receiving my abandoned cart flow? How do I stop them from being skipped?

Your abandoned cart flow is designed to email customers who triggered a checkout started event, but have not placed their order. If a customer places an order while they are within your flow, they will be skipped for all remaining emails. Your flow filter "What someone has done (or not done) > Person has Placed Order zero times since starting this flow" is what ensures your customers who place their order are skipped.

To see if this is the reason a customer was skipped from receiving your email, click into the recipient activity for the email and to the skipped tab. Here you can select "fails flow filters" from the dropdown and see what filter your customer failed. Within the Abandoned Cart flow, a large number of skips due to failing flow filters is a good thing! This means your customers are immediately placing their orders and do not need a reminder to purchase.
