Learn how to use Klaviyo's Flows AI to build a flow from scratch. The option to create with AI accepts natural language inputs (i.e., normal phrases and sentences) and helps you choose a trigger and flow structure before you start editing the fine details.

This feature is only available for paid Klaviyo accounts.

Use AI to build a flow

  1. Navigate to the Flows tab in Klaviyo.
  2. Click Create flow in the upper right.
  3. Click Build your own in the upper right.
  4. Name your flow and choose tags.
  5. Select Create with AI.
  6. Type out a description of the flow you want to create. If you aren’t exactly sure how you want to structure the flow, type in the kind of flow you want to create (e.g., abandoned cart flow) or start with a simple structure which you can expand later. You can include:
    • How profiles should enter the flow
    • Any filters that determine who can enter the flow
    • Flow actions (messages, time delays, etc) and where they are placed in relation to each other
  7. Click Generate draft. On the right is a preview of the trigger, filters, and structure the AI recommends.
  8. If you’re happy with the draft, click Edit in builder in the top right. Otherwise, revise your input and click Generate draft again.
  9. In the flow builder, edit the content of the flow messages and change the structure of the flow as you desire. Learn more about how to edit a flow.
