How to use Email AI to create email content

You can create email layouts with text, images, buttons, and other content using Klaviyo’s drag-and-drop editor. Follow the steps below, or see the guide to the email template editor for details about each block type.

Create email content manually

1. Open your email in Klaviyo’s drag-and-drop editor. Click Add content, select Basic, and drag a Section into your email, or use an existing section.
2. Drag content blocks, such as Text, Image, and Button, into the section.
3. Select each block to add your content and adjust its settings. Finalize your copy, choose images, and add the destinations for your buttons and links.
4. Click Edit styles to adjust your template’s fonts, colors, and other styles.
5. Click Preview to review your email. Check that your changes have saved before leaving the editor.

To reuse a layout you’ve already built, save its section as universal content. You can add it to other templates without recreating it.

Before sending

Before sending your email, check that you have configured the following:

• Products or feeds in a product block
• Images
• Alt text for images
• URLs for buttons and links

If your product block uses a dynamic feed, select a product feed.
