How to take a random sample of a list or segment

Learn how to take a random sample from a list or segment in Klaviyo. This can be useful when running a contest or giveaway, or when you'd like to send a message to a random subset of an audience. 

Take a random sample of a list or segment

1. Navigate to Audience > Lists & Segments tab of your account. 
2. Click a list or segment.
3. In the upper right-hand corner of your screen, click Manage List > Sample List Members (for a list) or Manage Segment > Sample Segment Members (for a segment).
   
4. Input how many people you would like to be included in this sample in the Sample size field.
   
5. Click Create List.
