You will learn

Learn how to use Klaviyo's built-in image editing tools (e.g., resize, crop, transform, etc.) when designing your sign-up forms.

When you add an image block to a form, you can use these tools to apply simple edits to the image. If you need to make more complex changes, consider using a specialized image editing tool like Canva.

Edit an image in Klaviyo

Klaviyo has an image editor built into the sign-up form editor. To add and edit an image in a form:

  1. Navigate to Add Blocks.
  2. Drag and drop and Image block into the preview.
  3. Add or upload your chosen image.
  4. Click Edit to access the image editing tools.
  5. Use any of the various tools in the menu bar to edit your image (e.g., Crop or Text) then select Apply. You will need to click Apply after each edit that you make with a tool to see your changes reflected.

Note that the default canvas background is black, so any unfilled areas (e.g., behind rounded corners or images with transparent backgrounds) will appear black once the image is saved. To avoid this, choose a different background color, like white, in the same editing session.

  1. Once you're satisfied with your edits, click Save to see the new image in your form preview.

Your edits will only be saved if you click Apply > Save. If you don’t click Save before closing the editor, your edits will not be saved.

Additionally, every time you click Save, a new image is created. Once you save an image, you will not be able to make changes to your previous edits. Editing a previously-edited image will allow you to apply additional edits, but not remove or change your prior edits. You can find all your previously edited images in the Brand Library.
