Learn how to sync Shopify segments to Klaviyo. Shopify customers can sync segments built in Shopify to Klaviyo as lists. These lists:

  • Reflect a point in time sync from Shopify to Klaviyo.
  • Do not update as segment membership changes in Shopify, or if segments are deleted.
  • Do not sync members from Klaviyo to Shopify.

Before you can sync segments from Shopify to Klaviyo, you’ll need to:

Segments will sync to the Klaviyo account that your Klaviyo app embed is connected to in Shopify.

Sync a segment

Sync a segment

To sync a segment from Shopify to Klaviyo:

  1. In your Shopify admin, navigate to Customers > Segments.
  2. Select the segment you want to use from the list.
  3. Click Use segment.
  4. Select Klaviyo.
  5. Review the popup that appears and click Create list.
  6. You’ll be redirected to the new list in Klaviyo. List membership may take some time to sync. 

Repeat the process above to sync additional segments.
