How to enable and use rich snippets with Klaviyo Reviews
You will learn
Learn what rich snippets are and how to enable them to feature your reviews data in search results and improve SEO.
About rich snippets
Rich snippets are a small piece of code that highlights details you’d like to feature in search engine results related to your brand. They provide an easy way for search engines to read and interpret key information, like a product’s average customer rating. However, using rich snippets does not guarantee that the search engine will display this data every time your page appears in search results.
When you use rich snippets, you may see information like star rating and number of reviews below your search listing. Additional product information like price and shipping times may be visible depending on your tech stack; these details are not provided by Klaviyo.
How to enable or disable rich snippets
Rich snippets are disabled by default. To enable or update your rich snippet settings:
- Navigate to Reviews.
- Select Reviews settings.
- Select Google Shopping syndication.
- Toggle the Enable Rich Snippets setting on or off.
- Click Update Google Shopping Settings.
Outcome
When you enable this setting, reviews data may be available in search engines results that feature your product, like Google and Google Shopping search listings. You may see a product’s star rating and number of reviews appear beneath your product page listings in search results.
