How to create static coupons for PrestaShop

Learn how to create a batch of PrestaShop coupon codes using the Klaviyo module in PrestaShop, then upload the codes to Klaviyo for use in your messages.

Before you begin

• Make sure you’ve already integrated Klaviyo with PrestaShop.
• In order to use the Klaviyo module to generate coupons, you’ll need to have already set up cart rules in PrestaShop for the coupons you want to generate.
  

Create coupons

To generate a batch of PrestaShop coupon codes to upload to Klaviyo:

1. In your PrestaShop admin, select Klaviyo from the left-hand menu (under Configure).
2. Scroll down to the Coupons section.
   

3. Enter the value from the Code field of the cart rule you want to use in PrestaShop.
4. Enter the quantity of coupons to generate.
5. Select Download coupons.
6. Check that the file you will upload is a CSV with 1 column headed Coupon or Coupon Code, with 1 coupon code per row.
7. In Klaviyo, follow the upload instructions in the coupons guide to create an uploaded coupon and add your file.
8. Review the previewed coupon codes, then click Import Coupons.
9. Wait for the import to finish, review how many codes were imported or skipped, then click Done.

Outcome

You’ve now created coupons in PrestaShop and imported them into Klaviyo. Follow the steps to include them in your messaging.
