How to export the HTML for an email template

Learn how to export the HTML for an email designed in Klaviyo's drag-and-drop editor. After downloading a message's HTML, you can use the HTML to perform accessibility testing, edit it to add custom elements and reimport it into Klaviyo, or import the message into another email marketing program. 

Export the HTML for an email template

1. Navigate to Content > Templates.
2. Locate the template you want to export.
3. Click additional options menu on the bottom of the template's card. 
4. Click Export Template.
   
   
5. Copy the source code from the modal that appears and paste it into a program of your choice
