You will learn
Learn how to invite a new user to your organization and how to remove one.
You must be a Super Admin or have a custom role that lets you add and remove organization users.
Invite a user
You must select a role and account access. Super Admin automatically has access to all accounts in the organization.
- In your organization, go to Settings > General > Users & Permissions.
- Select Invite.
- Enter the email address of the person you'd like to invite, then select Next.
- Select their role: either a static role (Super Admin or Analyst) or a custom user role built from permission sets.
- For a role other than Super Admin, under Account access, choose a scope:
- All accounts: give the user access to all accounts in the organization.
- By group: use Select groups to choose at least 1 account group. The user gets access to the accounts in those groups.
- Specific: use Select accounts to choose at least 1 individual account.
- Select Next. Review the email address, role, and account access, then select Send invite.
Klaviyo emails the user instructions to access your organization.
Remove a user
Removing a user removes their access through the organization, but does not remove access granted directly in individual accounts. This action cannot be undone. You cannot remove yourself.
- Go to Settings > General > Users & Permissions in your organization and find the user you want to remove.
- Click the ⋯ (more options) menu next to their name.
- Select Delete user. If their invitation is pending, select Cancel invite instead.
- In the confirmation modal, select Delete user to confirm.
