Learn how to ask Composer for a one-time reminder or a follow-up on work in a conversation. Composer returns to the same thread at the time you request, so you can continue with the context you already shared.

Choose what Composer should return with

Use a one-time reminder when you want to revisit a topic once. You can ask Composer to remind you about a task, return with a draft or proposal, or report on a campaign later. Say what you want it to do when it returns: a reminder to review a campaign and a request to report on that campaign are different outcomes.

Ask for a one-time reminder

  1. In a Composer conversation, describe what you want to revisit. Include the campaign, draft, or other context Composer will need.
  2. Tell Composer when to return. For example, ask it to remind you in 30 minutes or give it a specific date. For a request tied to a particular hour, include the time and time zone in your message.
  3. Read Composer’s reply and answer any follow-up questions so the request and timing are clear.

Example requests

Choose a request that describes the follow-up you need:

“Remind me in 30 minutes to review the campaign draft we discussed.”

Use this when you want a prompt to return to your own review.

“Review my marketing calendar on November 24.”

Use this when you want Composer to revisit the calendar on a particular date.

“Next Monday, let me know how much revenue we made from this campaign.”

Identify the campaign in the conversation so the later report refers to the work you mean.

Continue in the same thread

Composer responds in the original thread when it returns. Read the reminder or result alongside the earlier conversation, then ask follow-up questions there. If you asked for a draft or proposal, review it before using it.

Use recurring tasks for regular work

For work you want repeated, such as a weekly campaign recap, use a recurring scheduled task. A one-time reminder is useful for returning to one topic or checking a result on one occasion. See How to create recurring scheduled tasks in Composer.
