The double opt-in has been disabled on a list, however, a customer still received a confirmation email. How do I turn off those emails?

Even if you have clicked the box asking to require subscribes to confirm their subscription, if a person is added through an API request (i.e. 3rd party platform integrations), they will still receive the email, regardless of the value in the box.
